Michael Hanula studied at Kremnica SUV (1995 - 1999) and the Department of Design at the Faculty of Arts at the Technical University in Košice (1999-2005).

In his work dominates work with wood, wire, horn, but also work with the waste after logging, especially in the cycle Haluze works and wooden objects, created from wood with errors.

In his work he prefers designer work, using traditional craft practices such as wet wood turning techniques, but also not forget the current modern elements and trends in modern interior design, on which leaves distinctive artistic signature, which does not go against their neutral, drawing "wood. During his previous creative work has won numerous awards and recognitions in the field of applied arts and design, which successfully represents the hometown of Ruzomberok, where he currently works as a lecturer at the School of Applied Arts in Ruzomberok in the rule making toys and decorative objects.

The exhibition entitled NaOMAK III. a creation of artist Michael Hanula and exhibition is a continuation of a project conducted in 2008 in the Gallery Ľ. Fulla in Ruzomberok environment and Folk Art in Bratislava in 2009.
